In 2014 City of Yarra and Department of Justice commissioned Lachlan Plain to create a 10 x 30m mural on the corner of Argyle and Young Street in Fitzroy, Melbourne.
Life of Planet Daisyworld depicts several fetuses in deep sea diving suits floating in space, their umbilical cords wending back to earth. It is inspired by Lovelock’s Gaia Thesis. Each organism is part of a larger organism.
